Give today

Your kindness helps provide no cost camps, lessons and equipment to kids in underserved communities.

Teaching life skills to kids with barriers

This year, more than 240 kids will learn to ride through Pedalheads+. Campers receive 30 hours of high quality instruction and a new bike, helmet, lock, water bottle, t-shirt and snacks to keep them fueled all day.

Reaching more families with supportive partners

We collaborate with youth organizations across Chicago, Edmonton and Toronto to find families who would benefit from the program.

Empowering local youth through opportunity

We help local youth realize their potential by hiring, training and mentoring them as camp staff, giving them hands-on leadership experience.

Frequently asked questions

What's our mission?

To inspire kids to believe in themselves by providing no cost camps, lessons and equipment to kids in underserved communities.

Where do my donations go?

100% of donations go towards operating Pedalheads+ camps. This includes equipment costs such as new bikes, helmets, locks and water bottles, and may include other provisions, like snacks. Pedalheads funds any costs not covered by the donations we receive from our incredible community. For example, last year Pedalheads donated $70,000 to the program!

Who takes part in Pedalheads+?

We work directly with partner organizations who connect us with families who have existing access to their support services or programs. This means that kids or families with barriers do not need to go through a selection process and there are no open registrations for the program.

What organizations do you work with?

This year, we’ve collaborated with Canadian Tire, Chicago Youth Centers, Ermineskin Cree Nation, Indigenous SportCouncil Alberta (ISCA), Jane/Finch Center, Kozy Bikes, and Montana Nation. Each organization provides us with registrations and equipment for Pedalheads+.

What do kids learn in Pedalheads+?

We teach kids in underserved communities how to ride! Pedalheads+ supports kids aged 5+ who don’t know how to ride and we teach our signature “Learn to Ride” program (level 1 - 3).

Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?

Coming soon... We are not able to offer tax receipts on donations in 2024.
